Program

Jiří Polehňa graduated from the conservatory („lidová konzervatoř“) under the supervision of Professor Jan Dvořák. After completing the military service in 1976, he began working in the puppetry ensemble of the Hradec Amateur Theatre (HAD). He mainly performs in preschools, at festivals, and showcases for both children and adults. With his performances, he has also toured abroad, performing in Ireland, Poland, Slovenia, Germany, and Portugal. Besides performing, he has been also involved in teaching technological and artistic aspects of puppet design.
