Program

DS Klicpera are an amateur theatre group from Chlumec, proud continuators of a tradition that dates back to the early 19th century, when V. K. Klicpera started performing Czech theatre with his brother František and local students. Since 1937, to honour the memory of V. K. Klicpera, an annual meeting of amateur theatre artists called Klicperův Chlumec has been held, where last year they took the second place with their play THE WEEVIL or CURCULIO.
