Program

The Alfa Theatre started its activity in 1966 and to this day it focuses on works for children and adolescents. It draws on the roots of Czech folk puppeteers and develops their legacy in the context of contemporary puppet theatre. It further explores alternative approaches to classical titles and original theatre. In addition to the work for the youngest, it is looking for a way to reach teenage audiences. Thanks to their masterful work with puppetry, Alfa is a popular guest at many festivals and organises the Skupova Plzeň festival.
