Flinta is the daughter of the great and fearsome pirate captain names Flint. Everyone expects that one day she will take over his profession and become the new terror of the world's seas. However, Flinta doesn't exactly have talent for piracy, and she's afraid she'll disappoint her father as much as the dreaded kraken – the most feared monster of all pirate ships. The theatrical production is about fear and the courage to be oneself in a world where someone is always dictating something to you and about the fact that not all parental expectations are always correct.
