The author of Czech-Austrian poet and philologist Ondřej Cikán is a suggestive version of the poem known from Ovid's Metamorphoses. The protagonist Perseus spends his time at his own wedding with Princess Andromeda, whom he saved from the sea monster of Cetus. Meanwhile, he has the head of the Gorgon Medusa in his bag and he is gentle with it. Andromeda looks like she is made out of marble, Cassiopeia is unbearable and Phineus should stop drinking. The nymphs on the beach are dancing, oblivious to the fact they will soon become victims of the darkness.
